Makayla & Tanner wanted garden & beach backdrops for their engagement photos and truly had the best of both worlds with this unique photoshoot location just a little over an hour outside of Orlando, Florida! Washington Oaks Beach & Gardens State Park in Palm Coast, Florida is a favorite photo spot for many photographers for good reason. There aren't many locations that allow for as much variety here in Florida as this one does.
Makayla, Tanner, and I had such a relaxing time exploring the garden grounds together. They both have such a warm, kind, and calming presence which I feel like really shines through in their photos. I had an amazing time getting to know them and creating beautiful engagement photos with them that will truly withstand the test of time.
After we spent the first half of our session in the gardens, we drove directly across the road to the beach portion of the park! I adore the beach here for its unmatched scenery. Coquina rock formations jutting out from the water's edge set Washington Oaks apart from any other Florida beach.
